Magni 501 Coating System

Single Layer Thin Film Zinc Coating System

rohs compliant-zinc coating-electroplating

Magni 501 is a chrome-free, inorganic zinc-rich fastener coating system. Its thin silver coat provides superior product performance in a single layer. Magni 501 is engineered to be a replacement coating system for zinc plating and trivalent passivation.

Magni 501, single layer coating system, was developed to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance as thin film coating. There are no hydrogen embrittlement concerns when applying Magni 501 as the application process does introduce your metal parts in aggressive acid baths. Magni 501 is environmental compliant (WEE, ELV, REACH, and RoHS compliance) and provides cost savings over plating or zinc electroplating as the overall 501 application process has a shorter time-frame and requires much less resources and utilities. The performance properties, such as uniform film thickness, improved adhesion, chip resistance, consistence torque tension, paintable and no post-coating sealers are exactly the traits desired by metal component manufacturers.

Magni 501 is designed for use on fasteners such as nuts, bolts, screws and other types of hardware. This product can be applied via dip/spin or spray application methods.
